A theater class is never just a theater class: it's an opportunity to learn more about our humanity.
I have taught children, High Schoolers, undergraduates and adults topics as diverse as devising with Lecoq technique to twitter theatre.
I sometimes use backwards design in lesson planning. This model ("LbD") prioritizes the enduring understandings underlying any educational experience. These core principles not only relate to theater but to life as a whole.
I also work as a private acting coach, and as a tutor for critical writing assignments and research related to theater and the humanities.
