A theater class is never just a theater class: it's an opportunity to learn more about our humanity.
I have taught children, High Schoolers, undergraduates and adults topics as diverse as devising with Lecoq technique to twitter theatre.
I use backwards design in lesson planning. This model prioritizes the enduring understandings underlying any educational experience. These core principles not only relate to theater but to life as a whole. I'm grateful to my Professors at Emerson, who opened my mind to this holistic approach to theater education.
I also work occasionally as a private acting coach and as a tutor for critical writing assignments and research.
